How to Enrol

Selecting St Michael's Primary Baulkham Hills, will give your child the best opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially, and in partnership with our parish and the wider Catholic education community.

It involves a commitment to work with the school and support the philosophy, values and aims of Catholic education.

Specifically, joining this community means parents/carers and students are committed to:

  • the development of quality relationships with all members of the school community
  • the Catholic identity and evangelising mission of the school within the Church
  • supporting the school in upholding school policies and procedures
  • involvement by parents and caregivers, where possible, in the life of the school.

Attend our upcoming 2021 Kindergarten Parent information Evening
Our next Kindergarten Parent information evening will be in the school hall at 7.00 pm on Monday 2 November 2020.

Step 2:

Review the
enrolment instructions

Before completing the Enrolment Application, read the Enrolment Instructions and Checklist for relevant supporting documents in the Enrolment Application Form.

Enrolment packages containing the Enrolment Instructions and Application Forms are also available from the school office. 

Step 3:

Enrolment Application

Complete and submit an:
The completed Enrolment Application, together with all requested supporting documentation, must be submitted, in person, to our school office. Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications and note that submitting an application does not guarantee automatic placement. Please bring with you original documentation to be sighted and copied, if required.

Step 4:

Enrolment Interview

All students seeking enrolment at are required to attend an interview. Once the Enrolment Application has been submitted, our Enrolment Officer will contact you to schedule an interview. The enrolling student and at least one parent/carer are required to attend the interview.

Step 5:

Enrolment Acceptance

We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Form and pay the $100 non-refundable Enrolment Deposit by the requested date to secure your position.

This deposit contributes towards your first term school-based fees.

Once you have accepted your child’s place at St Michael’s, you will receive a Confirmation letter.

Parents should then attend our 2021 Kindergarten Parent Information Evening on Monday 2 November 2020 – 7.00 pm in the school hall.

There will also be Kindergarten Orientation days for your child – Tuesday 10 and Thursday 12 November 2020.
There are two groups for orientation:

  • Group 1: Tuesday 9.30 am – 11.30 am and Thursday 12.30 – 2.30 pm
  • Group 2: Tuesday 12.30 pm – 2.30 pm and Thursday 9.30 – 11.30 am
The Confirmation letter will outline which group your child has been placed in on each of these days. Unfortunately, we cannot change the group or times that your child has been allocated to for Orientation. Please note that orientation days are for kindergarten enrolments only.

The Bishop Manning Support Fund provides full or part assistance to families in financial need who desire a Catholic education for their children, but for whom the cost is out of reach. Normal school enrolment criteria apply. Contact your local Catholic school to learn more or visit the Bishop Manning Support Fund.
